He has successfully led multiple complex rig moves and offshore marine operations, delivering safe, efficient, and cost‑effective outcomes. As Marine Advisor with ExxonMobil Malaysia, he managed the Bindu Drilling campaign, overseeing the jack‑up rig Gunlod and the full marine spread including JM Tabah, Setia Jihad, and Gemia, ensuring safe, efficient, and incident‑free operations. He is OCIMF OVID and OVMSA accredited.
He achieved up to 40% fuel savings across offshore vessels, executed a zero‑incident drilling campaign (T9 barge), and reduced port turnaround time from 14 hours to 8.5 hours within six months.
His experience also includes serving as Marine Quality Assurance Team Leader with Saudi Aramco, managing critical marine services at Ras Tanura and Tanajib terminals, and working as an OCIMF SIRE Inspector (Petronas) and Marine Surveyor with DNV‑GL.
Currently, he is involved in KPDN‑approved flowmeter and fuel dispenser calibration, expanding into measurement accuracy and downstream compliance services.
